Issue description

Just saw the note on the bug board on steam and figured I'd make a proper issue. This is based on this issue on steam: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1594320/discussions/2/802342156092099728/

When a controller or wheelbase setup is connected, mouse input in-game becomes highly unreliable.

Left click and middle mouse click only register intermittently (approximately 1 in 4 clicks, sometimes worse).
This makes normal gameplay interactions (selection, camera control) inconsistent and frustrating.

Expected Behavior:
Mouse input should function normally regardless of connected controller or wheelbase devices.

Actual Behavior:
Mouse clicks frequently fail to register when certain input devices are connected.

Related hardware:

  • Wheelbase: Moza R12
    • Steering Wheel: Moza CS V2P
    • Handbrake: Moza HBP
  • Button Box: PXN Control Box CB1
  • Shifter: SSH Shifter

Troubleshooting Performed:

Disconnecting the entire wheelbase setup through a common USB hub (wheelbase + shifter + button box) restores normal mouse functionality.
Isolating devices indicates that the PXN Control Box CB1 is the primary cause:
When the button box is unplugged, mouse input works as expected.
With it connected, right click (camera movement) and left click (unit selection) become unreliable.

This suggests a deeper issue with how the game handles multiple simultaneous input devices.

Reproduction steps

  1. Connect wheelbase and peripherals (including PXN Control Box CB1).
  2. Launch the game.
  3. Attempt to use mouse (left/middle click).
  4. Observe inconsistent input registration.
  5. Disconnect PXN Control Box CB1.
  6. Retry mouse input.
  7. Functionality returns to normal.
