Newly placed x-shape connector not supplying conveyor

Issue description

Newly placed U or Flat connectors do not allow product to route along to the next conveyor belt.

Reproduction steps

1. Supply a product
2. Place a connector
3. Allow product to route to connector
4. See that nothing exits the connector
