This error indicates a critical crash within the Unity engine (UnityPlayer.dll). The message Attempt to access invalid address means the game tried to access a memory address that it doesn't own or that no longer exists. 1. RAM Issues (Most Common)Overclocking: If your RAM or CPU is overclocked (including XMP profiles), Unity may crash due to minor instabilities. Try reverting to factory settings temporarily. Page File: If the Windows Page File is disabled or too small, Unity cannot manage data correctly. Set it to "System managed size" on your primary drive. 2. GPU Driver Conflicts The Unity engine frequently interacts with GPU libraries via UnityPlayer.dll. Solution: Update your GPU drivers (NVIDIA/AMD) to the latest version. If they are already up to date, try a "Clean Install" using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). 3. Corrupted Game Files. Verify the integrity of game files (via Steam or your specific launcher). Sometimes the UnityPlayer.dll itself becomes corrupted. 4. Overlays and Antivirus. Overlays: Discord, Steam, or RivaTuner (MSI Afterburner) can conflict with Unity when trying to render layers over the game. Try disabling them. Antivirus: Windows Defender or 3rd-party antivirus software might block memory access. Try adding the game folder to the exclusions list.
