Issue description
Patch notes for 0.8.5 say
- Logistics is automatically disabled on the linked side while the station is loading or unloading it, preventing trucks from "stealing" reserved cargo or space from trains.
However logistics are disabled even if the station the storage is linked to is sitting idle - no arrivals, station unit is full and the linked storage is full too. When hovered over export setting the tooltip says "unlink train station to re-enable"
Reproduction steps
- Build a storage attached to a train station
- Try to change logistics settings on the storage building
Expected: logistics settings can be changed on the storage building
Actual: changing setting has no effect even if station is not loading/unloading from the storage
Game version and build number
0.8.5

Here's a scenario that is broken now. I have a bunch of mini factories around the island. Each of those factories have similar logistical setup: output goes into a storage that is built adjacent to a train station without any belts inbetween to maximaze throughput. The storage has both import and export by trucks enabled and sliders are set up in such a way that the storage only outputs if some minimal stock is present so trucks can grab a load of the resource for one of deliveries like construction and other needs where I don't need the good by trainful. Storage also doesn't accept any input above some level - so the trucks can drop the goods there in case something was deconstructed.
As of now my island goes into multiple death spirals becase my whole "small deliveries" logistics part can't work because the trucks can't grab the resources from linked storages. I workaround it by enabling export on storages on the other side but many of them aren't accesible by trucks since they weren't designed so, unlike mini factories.
I really hope it's a bug because bugfix patch that borks half of the logistics on my save and requiring rebuilding most of my factories kinda sucks.
