I think the statistics hub should have a "dynamic" option.
When set, the HUD only shows those products which have been pinned, but are either increasing or decreasing in value. Items that are static (grey bars) wouldn't appear.
I don't always need to know that I have 43k units of Hydrogen. However, if that value starts to increase or decrease, then that would suggest there's a problem somewhere and it should appear on the HUD. At the moment, increasing & decreasing items are shown with a red or green graph, however most of my icons are grey, meaning static.
Such a setting would allow players to add all their items to the HUD, and the HUD would dynamically show items that were changing in value. The addition and removal of items would be a lot more noticeable than a silent change of color amongst the many.
