Water - Higher waves look zig zag

this has been in the game for some time now I rember this still being in U1

sure, crater, start #2, near the oil patch

I see a change (no more zigzag (actually the water does not go high anymore at the shore) ... however, I discovered something. There is a gap between the water and the land (see the dock's columns under the water?) Not sure if caused by the change or was like this before.
