Moving Fission Product to another storage resets the retired waste timer

I had 200+ blue fission product barrels in a radioactive storage facility. The timer said 15 years until next disposal. I needed to move the facility, so I made a new one and set belts to move the material. After the transfer was finished, the timer in the new facility said 100 years; it started over! It should have retained the 15 years. The material did NOT suddenly become active again.

Yeah, AFAIK that is the way it working, not sure intended or not but i have seen others talk about it and i had the same experience, thou hopefully someone more knowledgeable chimes in as Im not positive exactly the mechanics at play. ~~ IF you need new one for now don't move them from 1 to the other just add another and reroute the belt instead.~~ Oh i reread and see you had to move! Yeah ok, well then all i can say is moving them is not a good idea as you have found out, and very unlikely IRL as well but yeah depending on how its programmed should maybe be changed but depending on how they handle it it may just be the way it is!

EDIT: sorry i thought this was help forum, not issues, in that case I have this issue as well as you!!

the material itself has no timer, that is handled by the storage facility. I think its basically a workaround of the devs. So it's 'working as intended', even though its not perfect
