Pressing M,N or Z while editing mining zone size makes the border invisible.

If you click on the button the edit the area of the mining zone, then press ESC to exit instead of clicking on the ✅ , then the mining zone is still there, but the boundary is invisible. You have to edit it again and click on the ✅ to get it to become visible again.

I had the same issue in the very beginning of playing U3. After restart I wasn't able to reproduce the issue anymore.

It was happening to me last night when I made the issue.
I can check later today to see if I still can.

Yeah, loading up the map this arvo the bug isn't there (update b just dropped but nothing in the changelog about this). Annoying when it is, annoying that I can't reproduce it.

I just found a way to reproduce it again!

1. GoTo Tower and click "Edit area"
2. Click Shortcut for enything else (like "M" for mining designators)
3. voilà! Mining area is not displayed anymore

Could possibly not have anything to do with it.. If I use the mouse to close it, I'm also less likely to hit M or Z.

I genuinely never noticed that there was a button down there. I have always pressed escape.

Yeah, just had some time to actually load the game today, and confirmed - pressing ESC has no effect, it's all about hitting M,N or Z.

Click tower, click edit area, hit M N or Z - selection area disappears. Thank you @just1021 [discord]

The mining area got hidden? I never faced this issue again anymore by pressing <ESC>

Actually, it's handy knowing how to do this to hide some clutter.
