Selection Uses Bounding Boxes Instead of Mesh Geometry, Causing Missed Clicks

Hit-testing currently relies on an object’s axis-aligned bounding box rather than its actual mesh collider. As a result, any mesh lying visually inside that box becomes unselectable. For example, clicking the conveyor belt segment that passes through the Research Lab’s bounding box fails—even though the belt mesh isn’t occluded—because the lab’s bounding box intercepts the click. This same issue also occurs beneath vehicle ramps and similar overlapping scenarios.

Clicking here should not select the Lab.
