The issue in this sorter in "No workers" but the message at the Dirt symbol is :
The sorter is not accepting more of this products because there is already too much of it.

Nope, there are no workers here & there is no dirt
backed up in the machine (see that there is no filtered dirt,
according to the middle section of the UI).

Are you that short on workers & power (they look grayed out,
meaning something is going on with those 2),
that even with the building set to P10 it's still not enough?

Did you for some reason enable "energy surplus" mode?

Yes, I am only short of workers.
But the errormessage states too much dirt while the Dirt buffer is empty.

Probably becaus the building isn't "working" to update the message.

It probably was full, but trucks can still remove from its storage while not working.

The message is true though. There's more dirt in the sorting plant than its capacity for dirt, and the shared buffer is more than roughly half full. AFAICT those are the conditions for a product no longer to be accepted. Yes, this is an odd case since if the dirt were sorted then the shared buffer would no longer be half-full, but it still makes sense.

I agree this is a bit confusing. The message is indeed correct, the sorter will not accept more, but that's based on the Unsorted Input buffer, which I get is confusing. We should relocate the alert, but at the moment this is as intended. But we'll keep track of it as an improvement. Thanks!
