iron ore is twice as expensive as any other ore

could this be because the other ores get reduced so much when being processed?
Correct me if I am wrong but 48 iron ore becomes 48 iron while 36 gold ore becomes 4.5 gold
These contracts yield 500 iron and 62.5 gold. So they are not the same everywhere and this is closer to balanced

no, all ores have the same value everywhere else
weirdly, quartz is more expensive in vehicle parts than iron, yet it has a 500 coal to 1000 quartz contract as well.

to be fair gold requirements are also much lower even on a per recipe basis

you barely need any gold, while you need huge amounts of iron, and you can just buy 1000 iron ore for I believe 1000 copper ore (1:1 ratio), if not also other ores, so this contract is cleary not balanced
I did and gold was never the issue, also they halved the gold cost of microships
Oh, interesting
But maybe microchip demand is higher now?
