As this image show, I tried to search "六" when expecting "六联家具" as a result.
And the game simply returns everything.
It's confirmed that the game starts a actual search from 3 characters, but in some languages (especially Chinese), characters tend to be very few. Thus it may be favorable to start searching with a single non-ASCII character to support such a scene, while keeping the game not wasting time searching from lots of blueprints.
