Contract efficiency weirdness?

See this. Not all the contracts are affected by going from 4 to 6%, and the slag contract goes backwards because you want to get rid of slag, not get sludge (default is 3k to 1260) so some contracts should be reversed. Maybe you should have the option of reducing or increasing the slag contracts (because sometimes you might want the product, sometimes you might want less of it). It would appear it does not process values properly when one material has filled all it's modules if that makes sense?

20% vs 30% on 8 dock ship. Seems not all contracts scales properly.

I wonder if it's scaling to attempt to fit for example of your screenshot over 5250 in 7 bays instead of reducing the gold. But that doesnt explain all the issues

Yes this is calculating it as if an 8 bay ship has 500 bays, but also it's doing 999 rather than 1000, which would appear to be an error

Seeing similar from actual ship contracts too.

This contract is 1:1 but:

I have this focus area in effect:

so I'm confused why my ship is using 3000 iron to return 3000 limestone

shouldn't the ship be returning with iron ore?

ender.dev [discord] · 1 year ago

Maybe that's why? but then it should be more clear it's not applying to some contracts

Would that allow an infinite resource generating cycle between two ships?

Yes, although that is entirely possible with other contracts right off the shelf (without office focus).

yep,classic gold-oli-diesel-gold cycle.

750 per 1 bay is already max that 8 bay ship can carry

3000 is 4x750

so idk, maybe they could decrease the demand, so you dont have to send 3000

This is what the OP was expecting - that some ore would remain on the ship.

I see this as well, I'd expect it to scale to the ore swap contracts as well!
