Housing unity screen ui bug

Population & Services UI & UX

A lot of players find the unity screen doesn't really make sense, and this minor thing is responsible for a lot of activity in questions help, when it could be resolved without too much effort. As an example, if you look at this screenshot it would appear i'm not fulfilling demand for the first 4 items, when I am. I would suggest the game shows it in 3 numbers, with
amount/amount without bonus/amount gained from bonus. so with a +100% bonus for water for example,
1/1 (+1)

Another option would be to hover over the max to see how much bonus is being applied and how to get it with full, but always show it as equaling max and in green if the service is fully supplied, just reduce max to account for the bonus being applied.

So for water with +100% and t4 houses,

2/2 [green] then hover over the /2 to see (+100%, +125 available)

I'd love to see a developer reply to this to confirm this could be worked on in the future?

Thanks for reading

Agreed here, I was really confused about this and it took some discussion to figure it out.

Yes, the housing level bonus should be a separate row from the individual categories. Clearly tell the % bonus and the unity value. With a meaningful text.
I'm not new to the game, but it's still a wtf experience, esp. with mixed housing levels.

Dotty persuaded me to say that I was flummoxed by this as well

@smjjames [discord] @RealisticOptimist (and anyone else interested about this)
I think that it will be sufficiently patched in the next version.
This was taken on the current experimental branch: https://discord.com/channels/803508556325584926/1050853091093774376/1387121890954580071

And for comparison, this is the pre manually-enduced shortages: https://discord.com/channels/803508556325584926/1050853091093774376/1387117555851722946

That could work. My main confusion was over the numbers on the right side of the / still being yellow despite things being green.
