The station group has 5 stations. How am I supposed to debug the path if I don't know which destination the train is attempting to reach?
Actually it wasn't that difficult since I could just take the manual destination marker and put it over the track at each station, but the UI should really provide this info.
It checked the paths for all of those 5 stations
(or at least to how many are/were available) &
it still couldn't find a way to get to any of them.
The pathfinder get's multiple valid (where the given train can be accepted) destinations &
picks the closest one, so if it can't find a path it couldn't find one to any of those.
Indeed, in this case it is likely the train could not find any path to any of the stations in the group.
If that was not the case, let us know!
I'm quite sure that I was able to confirm it could indeed reach other stations in the group, but those stations might not have been requesting trains at the time. If something similar happens again I will share save 🙂
