I think that actualy the solar cell textures on the models have been switched &
not the preview images in the build menu.

The model of the solar panel and it's preview are now matching, but I'm unsure, if it's correct the way it is now. Since higher performance solar cells irl typically appear darker.
Also is the Icon of the solar cell (MKI) light blue and the mono solar cell is dark blue, but the resulting buildings are the other way around
It might make sense anyway.
Just have a look at the exact texture of the T1 solar panels,
the solar cell surface is extremely crunchy, T2 ones are "flat":
