There is a case when the priorities are not working as expected.
How to reproduce:
Have two sets of buildings. Each set has:
- a storage(of raw material)
- a mining tower, mining tower has a dumping zone and matches the material from the storage.
- storage exports to its mining tower.
- both storages have the order to unload its contents(which should be dumped at a corresponding dump site).
- there can be different materials in set1 and set2.
Both sets are in a custom logistics zone. This is important, I wasn't able to reproduce when they are in the default zone.
One of the storages has an assigned truck(Truck_A), but is not limited to it. Another storage has no assigned trucks.
There is also a second truck(Truck_B) in the logistics zone, it's not assigned to any storage and should be shared between both storages.
Storages have different unload priorities.
Expected: Truck_A will only unload its assigned storage if it can. Truck_B will unload both storages according to the priorities: first a storage with the lower priority, once done, then the storage with a higher priority.
Actual behavior: Truck_B unloads some storage(that it somehow chooses) until that is finished, then unloads a second storage, even if the second storage has lower priority number and should be done before the other one.
To test it, I recommend to recreate the build as I describe and let trucks work, then switch the priorities. Either before or after switching the priorities the shared truck will continue unloading his favorite storage even though the priorities say it should go to the other one.
I think it chooses a favorite storage when we assign Truck_A.
Attached a save file with this scenario.
