I have noticed a major bug. I had a mining pit and it was down to about -12 in level. I saved my game and turned it off. I came back loaded up my game and the pit was filled with water.

You have an autosave just before this happened we could look at? is it close to the waters edge, and was water ever in the area before?
all it takes is one little spec of water that didnt get filled in correctly to cause an infinite flood.
It is close to the water, but no water was getting in. All of my previous autosaves are fille din now too. So I filled in the entire area with rock and dirt. Then I re-dug it out as a mine pit. Everything was fine and no water was in the pit. I saved, exited the game, came back the next day and it was all filled with water. All of autosaves for that game were all filled in with water.

Ok, but just to be clear. When you discovered the water in the pit after the initial reload (Point 3), and then checked your autosaves (Point 4), were those autosaves generated at a time when you personally witnessed the pit being dry and functional before you saved, exited, and reloaded?
In essence, are you confirming that saves known to be dry were found to be flooded after the initial failure event, or were those autosaves generated after the initial flood occurred?
Cause if so, that is sure a bug.

As I said, the pit was dry when I logged off that night. When I came back that save was flooded. And all the autosaves from hours before that were all flooded now too
This is the what I came back to when I loaded it up. This was empty when I logged off for the night.
Ok I found 1 autosave that wasn't flooded over. But as you can see from that image, I wasn't anywhere near close enough to the water, for any water to come in and flood the pit
Do you mind sharing that save of the one that isn't flooded yet, maybe even both, so the Devs can have a look?
