Linux Proton keybind: Alt is a system key, game uses it for zone management

i cant use zones on linux via proton, as it needs the Alt key, the issue is that is a system key, meaning that if i press it, i just tab out of the game while its held... would it be possible to add a way to remap this key to right shift or another key, if not sorry for the hassle.

I cannot find the ALT use for zones, but you can change keybinds under settings.
