The stacker tower behaves differently when laying a layer of dirt depending on whether it's standing on the previous layer with a vertical offset or standing on the layer that should be built.
The first picture shows the tower standing on level 1 with an offset of 1 leading to many deep holes.
The second picture is the tower standing on level 2 with no offset. The singular deep hole seems to be a different bug.
Functionally there should be no difference.
