Make storages consume/output items equally from/to all ports

since we have only 4x4 balancers it means that there is no easy way to make connections, as on the screenshot, balanced

IIRC in the next patch station modules of the same ware share inventories. No need anymore to balance

Yah, that's on the new train stations so it'll at least auto balance for those but I'm sure there's other application

That's not gonna happen, because they don't want to make it,
so the player can chain anything to abuse & create a high-volume
transport option that doesn't rely on Transport-s.
This is the reasoning for the Storage structure input limits' existance.

Or that is what I would have said before,
because Lift-s are kinda breaking that a little tiny bit.

you can chain lifts already if you want

you can also chain storages and get 3000/60 transport with 0 maintenance

there are also different options in game settings to make it free from power and etc, hence i see it as QoL and people who want to abuse things will find a ways to do it, if not in base game, then with mods

Well, if those limits weren't in place, then you could do 1800/60 per port,
so T1 & T2 chained storages could do 3600/60 &
the T3 & T4 chained storages could do 7200/60.
Just a single row of each would do that.

For this, I would put one more balancer between the station and the storage with 6 lines in and 2 lines out. That or remove the six that you have and run two at 6 in/2 out into another one that is 4 in/4 out.
