Mining designations above debris

When you have mining designations hovering above debris they are marked as not completed but cannot be accessed by vehicles since they are technically not reachable.

If the designation is low enough above ground, excavator can remove the boulder or shrub. Yours seems just too high.
Yes, would be nice if there were a dedicated, heightless cleanup designation. Esp. for not so flat areas.
E.g. forestry designations seem heightless. (Placing a mining or dumping designation next to forestry reveals forestry does carry an (otherwise unused) height, too.)

my problem was that they were trying to reach the ones in this picture

and it works at least with a height difference of 60

Yeah, it’s terribly tedious to place debris cleanup designations on uneven terrain, like hillsides

It would be nice to have a "clear debris" marker instead of only the dig marker. This particularly makes sense if you want to clear rock and once done want to dig dirt if you for whatever reason don't want to sort the loads

and yes the dig markers highlight like there is something to do even if the dig level is so high above ground that the excavators won't act on it

I like to clear my forestry areas from rock and bushes to make them pack more trees
