Haul trucks will ignore fuel stations on the way even if they are empty.

I've seen this quite a bit. I have bit distance between fuel stations but they are refilled by a train that ensures there is fuel. But the large haul trucks (mega) Will ignore fuel stations on the way.
If you tell them to stop for a moment when they are nearby, then they will use the fuel station and continue on the job.

I think it is something with the logic of the pathfinding, that properly only triggers when it starts or stops a job. So if it have started with "Ok" fuel, and runs out as it goes it will finish the job, before getting fuel.

Would it not be feasible to put something like "Fuel 5%" check for cloest fuel station?

~~This may be a repeat of something that I've seen.

Trucks care about the "as-crow-flies" distance,
not the actual length of the path-found way length.~~

Clearly not the issue here.

Is that fuel station a part of a logistics zone?

No, i dont use that at all.

I had to many issues with it because i didnt understand it properly so i removed them all.

Oh, you have at least 1 export route set on that station.
Can you try un-setting it for a while?

I know that it shouldn't matter, but maybe it does now.

Followed this truck, this is the exact moment the truck went from 0% grey to 0% red and the warning showing.

Another one frustrating issue, that vehicels make a large circle to the fuel station if it is located behind an obstacle (downhill, water...), but at the same time ignore all fuel stations and tanks along the way, wich were further by stright line, but closer to drive em
