With a diagonal track, it is impossible for me to build a simple ramp; the only way to do it is with awkward S-curves. Straight lines don't have this problem.
Straight ramps are not possible with diagonal tracks.

Move one side a few tiles to the side (can’t say witch direction)
The problem is the tracks being connected arnt in a straight line
