I notice that the roadmap has an update of mining / dumping listed. Is this still planned?
I am finding that mining goes through phases where the excavators and trucks assigned to a mine are mostly idle because they are capable of mining much more ore than needed, through to I am not getting remotely close to the ore I need despite having all excavators and trucks working at 100%. The issue that there doesn't seem to be a good way of getting rid of the rock / dirt over top of the ore that is needed.
I often have two mining towers per mine; one to excavate ore and one to excavate rock / dirt from on top of the ore. However, this is a cumbersome solution. I still usually get to a point where I'm hauling more rock than ore.
I don't know what the solution might be, but it is frustrating to have to abandon a mine that still has ore in it simply because either I cannot get the ore out fast enough, or more often, the sorter keeps getting blocked because I can't get rid of the waste rock fast enough.
