Metal-Smelting Industry

Discussion of the blueprint Metal-Smelting Industry.

This is crazy. I love that the width of the BPs pretty much match the cargo docks.

I didn’t actually plan this — it just kind of happened randomly) Is this a resource supply trade strategy? The new aluminum cell will also fit well near the depot, since I launched it by exporting bauxite for gold.

I just noticed a pattern with your designs, no trade strategy behind this lol; I'm still new to the game.

What pattern exactly did you notice?)

T-nm · 1 year ago

Mostly that they fit nicely in rectangles.

YuS · 1 year ago

Well, there’s another pattern here too.

Вообще, очень нравится стратегия активного обмена ресурсами в ваших чертежах. Отличная работа! Спасибо!

when you go from mid game to late game and need to upgrade say the glass makers, can you just delete certain belts and structures, then put the new buildings in place or do you have to put the new bp in its place?

@MaddTrker I tried inserting the upgrade module, but you can try doing it that way — I haven’t tried this method myself.

loving these too much...only thing is it would have been perfect if there was a crushed ore version, without the crushers....i crush my ores at the mines and transport them

I like your blueprints; they're nicely modular :)

I also enjoyed expanding the aluminum blueprint to get the iron rice.

It was all nicely structured, making it easy.
