Failed to save the game 'C:\Users\Capns\AppData\Roaming\Captain of Industry\Saves\Revitalized Reef\1.save': Out of memory

Out Of Memory. Also known as, Not Enough RAM. I usually see that error when I'm running too much software at once; CoI has a very large memory footprint. A few of the times I've had that happen to me, the game also crashes because some thread or another other than the save thread crashed as well- but they won't necessarily. The game usually keeps running just fine after that error- but when it appears, you want to immediately close other software and save the game.

I'd also like to note it reporting just 19GB of free space on your C drive... that's low enough that you might also be facing- or close to- "out of usable free space on C drive" issues. The easiest way to fix that is to delete large software- like COI- that you're not using anymore- unlike COI.

Thanks for the info I have had issues with low drive space errors before but I have managed to clean up some files and it runs ok apart from the memory issues, I am playing on a laptop so there i not much I can do, I have managed to fix the problem by increasing the size of the page file and that seems to work for now. I dont run any other programs but of course there is a lot of stuff that tries to run in the background. I only have 8Gb Ram and a 250gb C Drive. Unfortunately I can't get the boss to spring for a new Laptop at Present.
