Production chain: Petroleum coke

Produce coal (coke) out of heavy distillate to have an alternative available when coal supply is low.

coke production as in every Oil refinery

Like a Delayed Coker in a real refinery:
Heavy Oil + Steam ===> Naptha + Diesel + Light Oil + Medium Oil + Coal + Sour Water
Also, a Hyrocracker should be great as well:
Heavy/Light Oil + Hyrogen + Steam ===> Fuel Gas + Naptha + Diesel + Sour Water

I agree these would both be good to use the heavy oil and include a vacuum distillation tower to the cokers ( see Suncor Oilsands for example)

I would like to see more Catalytic reforming options and steam reforming hydrogen from ethanol
