Rubber as part of truck maintanence or all machines

At the moment (Beta Stage) we are just using copper+Iron, copper+steel and steel+electronics for maintanence. And all of us had a overproduction of rubber. So why don´t use the rubber for truck mainanence or all machines? The problem is that you don´t have much rubber in early game. To solve this problem it is an option to have a rudimentary recycling system from the beginning where you recycle tires into rubber and iron. For example for a new tire you will need 1 iron and 1 rubber and the recycle will give you 0,5 rubber, 0,5 iron and maybe 0,5 slag or something like that.

Not only rubber - plastic seem to be forgotten as well.
