I don't use barriers due to having to place them one by one. it would be nice if you could drag and drop them just like pipes and conveyors. this change will make me use barriers and I'm sure other people will like this change.

Agree. Makes no sense that at least the straight barrier isn't drag to place like conveyors etc.
