have the ability to assign a priority for the mining/dumping squares you place. This would allow for cases where you need to dig certain locations first to allow for continued access and also long term planning for larger projects.

The priority should be set in the mining Towers for all of the area each tower controls.
More towers shoud be added to control different areas with the ability to have a different priority.
Setting priority to individual squares could possibly slow the game to a halt with too many things to process.
This would be bad.
Agree, we should be able to set priority for all excavator on the mining area from control tower
