I fully agree. I would love to be able to create a map with difficult terrain to dig and build around, but, would love to have unlimited resources so I can focus on the build side, not resource management as much. Also, much larger maps.
yes like city skylines for example you could buy extra chunks to map that could be a solution to expansion of islands or simply get access to the other islands wheather to can buy settlements out or go take over them but long we need to be able to get extra build space
COI Needs this. The default maps are fine, and there are some truly unique player created maps, but, most are (sorry) terrible and unbalanced. Suffice to say, most players do not have the ability nor forethought to create decent maps. Thus the well will run dry rather quickly.
Randomized maps will attract more people to the game. The devs would be wise to add this feature to keep the game interesting and viable for a much longer period of time.
