Window lock button

Lets say you are a busy micromanager and would like to keep an eye on a warehouse which you are emptying to be reassigned or something. I would like to open that warehouses window and press a button to keep that window on my screen until I unlock and close it myself.

Big yes. Or if the windows would just remain open till closed, maybe with a simple right click or similar action?

Other use-case is that I would like to open workshop and "pin" it stay open to see the priority order when configuring another workshop. I have the memory capacity of a goldfish and switching back and forth feels inefficient.
