Storage Prioritization

Given that Storage Buildings (unit / loose / liquid) can be used to feed Assemblers (as an input buffer), we should be able to set a priority to a storage building for receiving, perhaps for shipping as well.
Operatively, I have an assembler and a coal maker; each requires wood. I want the wood to go to the coal maker with more priority than the assembler (let's just say for rate of consumption). I'm chopping down trees faster than I can use the wood, and I'd like to ship it to the 'feeder' storage instead of the Machine its attached to.
Additionally, I need coal to go to a loose storage to feed my Basic Distiller and another to feed my Blast Furnace, but I want priority to go to the Distiller (for reasons).
I know I can prioritize at the General Machine, but without the ability to prioritize the storage building that feeds it, the whole "input buffer" concept flounders with stuff sitting on the truck or in the wrong storage building.
Thanks for the fun interesting game.
Regards.

I have to admit... I just realized you can set priorities (in a round-about way).
If you set the Storage Building slider for KEEP FULL to any amount, a priority selection appears.
Multiple coal 'input buffers' can all be set to KEEP FULL and priorities then set accordingly.
Same applies to KEEP EMPTY from source storage.
It seems to be working as intended.
