Vehicles running on alternative fuels.

I would like to see a greater variety of transport, including the fuel used.
If specifically at the very beginning a small truck would be useful with a restriction on carrying capacity and type of cargo, but working on processed wood or potato products. So that problems with oil refining were not so deadly.
Later, coal-powered "trains" (or at least trolleys) would be useful for transporting ore and coal to the processing site.

Or early solar powered trucks with less storage and slower speed. Since they are simpler, they should not break down as much and should keep running when the rest of the game slows to a halt.
