That's right, imagine COI, by Michael Bay. Not TNT but maybe Ammonal or Ethylendiamin+Nitro-Fuel. "I wish we had time for digging, brother". The blasted rubble could then be easier to dig and carry away or maybe slide down a slope into the coast or next pit.
