I have four wheat farms going, and I get 70 wheat per harvest. The harvested Wheat goes to the chicken farm. I have 250 hungry chickens.
upgrading to a greenhouse will only give me 88 wheat per harvest.
could you make the farms smaller or more productive?
include a vertical farm.
or just kill off the chickens until their needs are meet.
