Smarter handling of loading multiple trucks assigned to one storage

Currently, only one truck can load from a storage at one time. I understand this might be necessary to avoid conflict where 2 or more vehicles would 'fight' over resources in that storage. However there seems to be problems with the implementation.
-When large trucks are assigned to small storages, each truck en-route seems to 'lock' an amount of goods equal to their cargo space in inventory. No other truck can load it. So you can get a situation where a truck is waiting idle in front of a full storage, unable to load because all of the inventory of the storage is assigned to trucks still en-route.
-Every time a truck loads from a storage, all the other trucks en-route to it stop for a second. Can this be avoided?
-When there are multiple trucks queuing at a storage, only one can be in the 'loading position'. So after that truck is loaded, the next one still has to maneuver for a bit. Maybe a storage could allow 2 trucks in 'loading positions' so they don't have to do that?
