Hello Devs,
I'm past current endgame currently running 2 full recycle buildings as fast as they can go. I find myself with a ton of excess iron and the recyclers constantly shutting down due to not many late game things requiring iron. I reverted my mechanical parts even to being made from iron to try to drop this but still can't dissipate the insane amount of iron from recycling.
It would be much more beneficial if I could re melt the iron to molten iron to then form it to steel instead. To be honest, I would do this even if I lost 20 ish % of the iron as a remelting loss. So please think about possibly adding a recipe to re melt iron ingots or to re crush the ingots to iron powder.
Thank you for your consideration.
Remelt Iron ingots to make molten iron for making steel

Can't you just set up your furnaces that use up the iron scrap with an oxygen furnace to make steel? I mean, sure you can't quickly use up the iron plates you already produced, but the iron scrap can be turned into steel.
I can see this as a late-tier tech. Melt the Iron ingots down to recover the Iron ore with some loss during the process. Or grind it to Scrap and use it that way.
из слитка железа трудней получить чугун и сталь так как надо добавить углерод . из чугуна просто его выжечь это просто
