Small description of different resources in recipe book

I think adding a small paragraph's worth of science info about the different stuff in the recipe book would be kind of cool.
Like, for Iron, you could list a couple "fun facts" about it, like how it's the most stable element, the place in the periodic table, being one of the most abundant metal on the planet, etc.
You could give such info for all the dozens of industrial products and by-products, maybe even adding links that would direct the player to other resources in the recipe book (like for Iron, it could say that it is refined from "Iron Ore", and clicking on it could open the page for iron ore).
Also, it's one thing to have a list of recipes, but having some info about HOW those recipes actually work would be really interesting too. Obviously not a scientific dissertation on the subject, but a short description.
