The idea of roads has been thrown around a lot, and I think it's a great idea. Trucks use less fuel, go faster, etc on a road. This is something that could add a nice esthetic to that.
Using Barriers to create road areas looks fantastic, at least I think so. With utilizing ramps to basically block off areas so that transports run cleanly under them, making a 'road' by digging down one, and replacing it with whatever you wish. I'm currently using slag because I like the look of it. When attaching barriers to the ramps, make the barriers literally 'attach' to the ramps to give a cleaner look. Either from straight on to the ramp, or as a corner piece. Screenshots included in the current design, I think what I am asking for would be a bit self-explanatory at this point. I could only attach the one screenshot of the corner piece, which I think looks great, but would look better if it actually connected.
