As titled it would be good to be able to see what areas are most affected by pollution with smog and visible discolouration of the sea.

I agree. And there should be a negative consequence for using a Seashore Water Pump right next to a Liquid Dump. I'm thinking implement a visible layer of water pollution similar to Cities Skylines.
