Smart Turbines / Electrolyzers for green hydrogen

Checkbox for turbines and Electrolyzers to only run if there is a shortage/abundance of Power. This would enable a more realistic way to store power than giant accumulators - store solar power in the form of hydrogen and burn it later if the sun is not shining.

It would be nice if there were multiple ways to store energy. For example, when there is a surplus of energy, you could operate pumps that pump water into a storage tank located high up. In this way, when energy is needed later, the potential energy of the water could be used to generate electricity using water turbines.

Electorolyzer II also would fit this idea. Current one for hydrogen is a joke.
