Advanced Vehicle Logistics

Vehicles need a bigger brain in order to reduce distance travelled.
I've noticed that vehicles will move something from point A to point B then move to point C for the next job instead of carrying out a job much closer to point B. Maps where vehicle transport is crucial (Crater) this can be a bit annoying.
It would be nice if the vehicles could identify close jobs to their current location and maybe communicate with further away vehicles that are already assigned to take over the job and save both of them on fuel.

Smarter logistics for trucks would be awesome, both with material transport and refueling.
Far too often I see two or more trucks drive to the same area, one with cargo for delivery and one empty for pickup, when one truck could do both.
I can't see that it would be too hard to calculate the ETA on trips and plan job lists for trucks making them work WAY more efficient.
For bonus transport planning could be an edict for the office building!
And also of course some settings how the trucks should behave as for the "allow partial loads" setting.
