About a month ago, I pointed out a balance issue in several recipes: battery-powered vehicles, coal liquefaction, and a couple of other suggestions for new content. I precisely calculated the values to fit the vanilla balance... What do I see now? 'Large truck consumption reduced by 25%.' But the problem isn't a 25% difference—it's a 7 to 8-fold difference. And the coal rebalance hasn't even been touched.
Do you actually read anything other than trivial suggestions like the iron crusher or biomass balance? And yes, those are useless: iron is needed for walls, and biomass doesn't matter since you can just as easily get fertilizer from ammonia. I just don't get it. A guy gives you a fully calculated balance, explains exactly why it should be this way, and... nothing?
