Many of its stats are based on the real Big Boy locomotive, including power, weight, and top speed. Though this is Captain of Industry and not real life, so some stats are different.

Research:
A single Big Boy engine is slightly better than two T2 steam locomotives in every way, so I feel confident considering it equivalent to what I imagine a T3 steam locomotive to be.
The Big Boy 4000 and coal tender research node is located after the T2 Hydrogen Locomotive in the Lab research III section of the tree.
The Big Boy 4014, oil tender, and 4014 refuel station research node is located after the Big Boy 4000.
Other info:
4000:
- 200 steel and 200 T3 vehicle parts to produce
- 2 workers and 20 T2 maintenance to operate
- 16 coal, water, and 19 pollution to keep running
Due to retromoding, the 4014 is more efficient and emits less pollution.
4014:
- 200 steel and 200 T3 vehicle parts to produce
- 2 workers and 18 T2 maintenance to operate
- 13 heavy oil, water, and 10 pollution to keep running
Tenders:
Both tenders cost 100 steel and 80 T3 vehicle parts to produce.
Each has a capacity of 126 of its respective fuel.
Tenders can be chained to increase capacity. (Note: T1 & T2 tenders aren't compatible with Big Boy)
