Decorative Lighthouse

Decorative Lighthouse adds an unlimited decorative version of the original Captain of Industry Beacon.

The decorative building uses the original Beacon model, construction layout, construction costs, and in-game icon. Unlike the original unique Beacon, it has no refugee or immigration function and can be built as many times as desired.

How to use

1. Open the construction menu.
2. Navigate to **Decorations → Landmarks**.
3. Select **Decorative Lighthouse**.
4. Place and construct it like a normal building.
5. Supply one worker and 10 kW of electricity.

You can construct any number of decorative lighthouses.

Important differences from the original Beacon

The decorative version has no connection to the refugee or immigration system.

It does not:

• attract refugees
• provide population
• generate Unity
• count as the original unique Beacon
• replace or modify the original Beacon

The current decorative version also does not add custom rotating lights or additional animation. It uses the original Beacon model as a static decorative landmark.

Compatibility and saves

Decorative Lighthouse version 1.0.4 is verified for Captain of Industry 0.8.6.

The mod can be added to an existing save.

Do not remove the mod from a save containing constructed decorative lighthouses. The mod is not marked as safely removable because its buildings are stored in the save.

Credits

The original Beacon model, icon, and related Captain of Industry assets belong to MaFi Games.

The mod references these assets from the installed game and does not redistribute the original Beacon model.
