Mining designations cleared

Issue description

On multiple occasions, i have observed that mining designations in a specific area are being cleared without my input. This is happening in the location of the iron mine on YSNP (pic in zip file)

Expected behavior

designations shouldnt be cleared without intentional user input

I suspect this can be related to the bug when deselecting/canceling the tool with right mouse click makes a weird selection box.
Deselect mining zone starts from wrong position
I experienced same problem as you, they cleared themselves since i regularly get "No mining designation for tower" notification near a mine close to map center.
