Not allowed to increase population less than 500, Why?

Is it a game limitation or just a limitation you decided on? Limit players to only be able to add 500 or more population when cheating with population? Please remove that limitation. There are times I want to add just 100 or 50.

Its not about adding you set the limit of population and its just to avoid people setting to low and something happens and you start losing people then game over. It is a safety reason i added it. I can add in a checkmark "i know the risk!" and it unlocks it.
