Colonized: A Totally Peaceful Human Story

For generations, Kayser’s pre-industrial Humans lived peacefully in the deep woods. They built cabins, tended their gardens, hauled everything by hand, and believed the mountains marked the edge of the known world.

Little did they know, that directly over those mountains was a modern civilization—with apartment towers, container ports, grocery stores, bicycles, running water, and an absolutely horrifying amount of municipal zoning.

One day, the two peoples finally discovered each other.

First contact went surprisingly well. Both civilizations immediately recognized their shared cultural tradition of picking up boxes and carrying them somewhere else.

The forest Humans were introduced to bicycles, plumbing, supermarkets, and industrial logistics. In return, the modern Humans learned about berries, beans, and the radical concept of not paving every available square inch of land.

They joined hands, built a road through the mountains, and lived happily ever after.

There was absolutely no colonization, cultural displacement, labor exploitation, traffic congestion, water shortage, or disagreement over who owned the enormous statue.

Just Humans helping Humans.

The end. 🥰📦🚲
